Spinning along on the bike yesterday i was asked the question of how the year went for all the clients and athletes that i work with. It wasn't hard to answer that ... "I am so proud of how everybody went about tackling their training and performances on race day over the entire year. There is no way i could be more pleased for everyone involved." It didn't seem like an event went by without personal best efforts and results. As the sun sets on the 2007 racing season we should fittingly finish by talking about two more great performances.

Dana Chance -- Narrowly missing out on a couple Kona spots this year she rallied herself with great preparation for the 70.3 World Championships. After a year filled with personal best results there was no doubt she was going to finish the season the same way. Dana bested here previous years efforts on a tougher race day and, AGAIN, negative split her run. Good on-ya Dana! Here's to 2007 ... 2008 better watch out ;)
Rob Chance -- After a personal best performance in Kona Hawaii Rob decided to finally unpack his race bike ... 4 weeks later in Clearwater Florida ;) With his main goal of leading out the 45-49 AG swim Rob was up for trying a bunch of new stuff on race day. Once he chalked up his goal of leading out the swim the rest of the day was gravy!
Las Vegas Marathon
Marie Muchow -- After having a terrific season running personal bests at the 13.1 mile distance Marie decided to give 26.2 a go last weekend. Terrific training and great race execution yielded Marie a splendid first marathon. Marie has been bitten by the bug and has already looked into the 2008 hour glass ... i think she smells Boston ;) (the marathon that is)
VERY well done Marie!
Next items up on the blog will uncover our new concept of "Team Train To Endure" for 2008 and i'll get around to discussing the "Anatomy of a Comeback". Until then ...
