One day to go until the camp starts and it looks like all the ducks are in a row ... including the weather. Dare i say it might even be toasty tomorrow ... ;) ... though it will cool w/ day 2 and may get a little wet as the day 3 arrives. Speaking of Day 3, that is actually Stage 1 of the Tour of California and the day they arrive in Santa Rosa. There is Category 3 climb up Coleman Valley Rd with 50k's to go in the race that might shake things up a bit. With a bunch of technical sections (up and down to Occidental) after the climb, it's a chance for puncher like Paulo Bettini to have a go. Especially if he takes a guy like Jens Voight with him! Unfortunately the 30k's until they hit the circuit in town is downhill / flat and REALLY fast. If a small group can get to the technical circuit with some time it will be interesting!

Speaking of pictures ... while i was looking through all the photos i came across a photo of my all time favorite bike. The Javelin Amarone (set up a little different now) is a 100% Dedacai U2 bike and it is just wicked smooth. The downside is that they don't make this bike anymore so it will have to be preserved and used "as needed" ;) ... when i saw the picture it made me smile.
